MHS Concert Choir Singers at the Oregon Bach Festival

Four of our fabulous MHS Concert Choir singers, Lucy, Naomi, Owen and Sam V, had the opportunity to participate in the Stangeland Family Youth Choral Academy. SFYCA, an intensive, 10-day program, led by Dr. Anton Armstrong of St. Olaf College, that takes place at the Oregon Bach Festival in Eugene, OR.

In addition to Dr. Armstrong, these singers got to work with Dr. Therees Hibbard of St. Olaf College and guest conductor and artist-in-residence Eric Whitacre.

At SFYCA, they braved 100F-degree heat and met other passionate choral singers from across the country.
